Crossfire Kids

CrossFire Kids is for 3rd -5th grades.  The group meets on Wednesdays from 3 till 8.  Interactive learning about Jesus Christ is encouraged through role playing, creative crafts, and Bible study. 

CrossFire Kids is the foundation for a peer group that is learning to play and interact in Christian fellowship. This group will eventually feed into the larger CrossFire Youth. 

We're looking forward to a new year with  new lessons & a bunch of new 3rd graders.   Our 3rd -5th graders can ride a bus directly from La Vernia Intermediate.  After checking in, they can expect snacks & drinks.  They can then settle down to do their homework. Once homework is done, they can go off to play in the game room , outside, or just hang out with friends.    Service starts off with us joining the older youth for common singing & worship time.  After that, we break off to have more age appropriate Christian lessons.  3rd-5th graders are expected to stay till 8PM, just like the older youth group.   The children may not leave once they are there without a parent checking them out.  We do understand those times where leaving early is necessary (sick, practice, excessive homework)...however, we hope these times are infrequent.  It is not our intention to be a daycare facility.  We are an active, growing albeit young Christian group looking to expand our knowledge of Jesus Christ.   We would love to meet you.
